COVID-19 Vaccine Trial: The UK Gets Their First Volunteers
The United Kingdom has gotten its first human volunteer for the Covid-19 vaccine trial.
The vaccine was developed by a team at Oxford University, led by Professor Sarah Gilbert, and was tested on two volunteers.
More than 800 volunteers are taking part in the vaccine trial.
Among the two volunteers who were tested is a scientist by name, Elisa Granato, who said that she supports the scientific process and has a high degree of confidence in the vaccine.
