Coronavirus: 86 New Cases In Nigeria - April 19, 2020
86 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nigeria as at 11:50 pm 19th April, with Lagos state having the highest number of cases recorded a day.
According to the latest update, a total of 70 cases were reported in Lagos, 7 cases in Abuja, 3 cases in Katsina, 3 cases in Akwa Ibom, 1 case in Jigawa, 1 case in Bauchi, and 1 case in Borno.
This information was confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
There are now 627 confirmed cases of the virus reported in Nigeria. 170 persons have been discharged, while 21 deaths have been recorded so far.
Citizens are still urged to stay at home to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
