English Premier League Club, Manchester City have announced on Twitter that their head coach, Pep Guardiola, lost his mother to the coronavirus pandemic.
Pep Guardiola's mom, Dolors Sala Carrio died in Barcelona on Monday, at the age of 82 after contracting the virus.
This information was passed through the club's official Twitter account.
the tweet read: "The Manchester City family are devastated to report the death today of Pep's mother Dolors Sala Carrio in Manresa, Barcelona after contracting coronavirus. She was 82 years old."
