Coronavirus: US President Implements Travel Ban On European Countries

United States President, Donald Trump has imposed a travel ban on European travelers from visiting the country. The ban is to take effect from March 13th, but will not include the United Kingdom. This ban came as a measure to reduce the spread of the ongoing virus known as COVID-19. This decision was made after the World Health Organisation declared the situation a pandemic.

Speaking during the announcement, Trump said that his decision was the most aggressive and comprehensive effort to confront a foreign virus in modern history. He also said that the restriction stops people, not goods.

European Union Leaders were not happy with Trump's decision and disapproved of it. They described the outbreak as a global crisis, not limited to any continent and requires cooperation rather than unilateral action.
The ban is expected to continue for the next 30 days.
